The ArianeB 6.45 walkthroughs: All in one

I haven’t got the one two million hits on this blog for my ol’ blue eyes, neither for my occasional rant on Belgian politics or computer helpdesks. The big chunk visits this blog for the ArianeB walkthroughs.

I wrote in 2007:

ArianeB or Virtually Date Ariane is an adult dating simulator with a lot of different scenarios and outcomes. The story is fairly simple, make a date with Ariane and try to get her in the sack! Of course this sounds easier than it is and that is exactly what makes this game worthwhile. The best way is to experiment with the different situations the game offers and to learn from past mistakes.

Although ArianeB is an adult game, with adult themes, it is far from smutty, at least in my opinion. Often imitated, but never equaled, it is very different from these Japanese crappy adult Flash movies where the only purpose seems to be to put as many tentacles from an alien octopus into the different orifices of a badly drawn under aged hentai girl and that as fast as possible.

One of the (many) scenarios ends by playing a game of Parcheesi, probably the lamest game in the world, and that is not exactly what you were hoping for. If you seem unable to bring the game to a satisfactory ending then the brand new walkthroughs for ArianeB versions 6.21 to 6.45 are for you. As I told before: often imitated, never equaled.

ArianeB 6.40

On Friday, the 16th of July 2010, ArianeB was updated to version 6.4. This is a bug-fixing release with additional Rebecca scenarios and a slightly different photoshoot at the lake scenario. All previous scenarios, minus two, still seem to work.

Ariane 6.45

On Saturday, the 24th of July 2010, Arianeb was updated to version 6.45. This is a bug-fixing release with one additional Rebecca scenario. The walkthroughs will be tested and upgraded where necessary. (Done, I think.)

Gets rid of a bug. Here are the patched pages. Just replace the two original html pages with the new ones. This patch may not be used for versions downloaded after the 24th of July 2010 (6.45 and later).

These are the ArianeB 6.21 - 6.45 FAQs or walkthroughs so far. Some minor updates may still occur (weeding out the typos, for instance). If you think that you have found an error or if you find another path to get to a certain situation (preferably a situation that hasn't been described yet) drop me an note.

As some dialogue is rendered ad random during the game the actual text may sometimes be slightly different than in the above walkthroughs, but most of the time the instructions are straightforward enough to get on with the game.
