As a Society (hopefully of mammoth numbers in the near future), I plan to aim high in creating a cause for our fellowship. This may include... getting some petitions created to look at getting un-released Syd Barrett material released officially by the Record Companies. I would especially like to see Vegetable Man and Scream thy Last Scream finally enshrined officially on CD, and maybe our Society could help with part of the artwork for the sleeve design? I would also like to get some form of memorial tribute designed and erected somewhere in Cambridge. These are the sort of plans I have for our number.

I am also currently looking at getting some modern style tee-shirts printed up for the Society and it's many new members from around the globe. Membership is free, but we do ask that you do participate and contribute in some way, large or small. This may be as simple as making your own personal tribute in the form of poetry, a drawing, a comic strip, a painting, a sculpture, short story, short film...whatever you can set your mind to creatively. E-mail us with your work, so that we can add your idea to the fun and excitement of this new Syd Barrett fanbase. If all else fails, just visit here often to see whats new!
